Membership is a thoughtful next step, not a rushed decision. We ask you to attend for a season, participate actively in church life, and then be onboarded by the Director of the Caring Team, who will walk you through what the church does for a member and what membership means in our family. When you are ready, contact us or speak with a pastor after Sunday service.

Membership is a way of saying “this is my church family.” It helps us care for you well and opens clearer pathways for pastoral support around life's milestones—such as baptism, weddings, dedications, and other church care—alongside belonging, accountability, and shared responsibility in the life of the church. The Director of the Caring Team will explain the full picture during onboarding.

Yes. You can attend ROLCC without becoming a member. Many people take time to understand what we believe, experience the community, and ask honest questions before making any commitment. That said, membership can be meaningful—it’s a way of saying “this is my church family,” and it also helps us care well for you. For certain pastoral services like weddings, baby dedication, burial support, and some priority care, members may receive preference (not to exclude others, but because church family carries shared responsibilities and privileges). You’re welcome either way—start by visiting and take your next step when you’re ready.

Yes—taking a few weeks is wise. You’re welcome to attend ROLCC for a season, listen, watch how we live out our faith, and ask questions before deciding anything. We won’t push you to join quickly, and we won’t ask visitors to introduce themselves publicly. If you want a clearer sense of the church beyond Sunday, try a Cell Fellowship during the week or speak with a pastor or leader after service. Trust is built over time, not in one visit.

Not always.

Some serving opportunities are open to those who are regularly attending and getting to know the church, while other ministries may require additional preparation or church membership. This helps us care well for both our volunteers and those they serve.

Yes. Choosing a church home is an important decision and shouldn't be rushed. We encourage you to prayerfully visit churches, examine whether Christ is at the centre, God's Word is faithfully taught, and there is a community where you can grow spiritually and serve. Take the time you need to seek God's leading before making your decision.

Look for a church where you can grow in Jesus, be known, and serve—not just attend. A good church will teach the Bible clearly, welcome people from different backgrounds, and help you build real relationships beyond Sundays. Try visiting a few times, ask questions, and notice whether people follow up with care rather than hype. At ROLCC, many people find “home” through a Cell Fellowship and serving in a ministry team during the week, not only through the Sunday service. Home is usually built over time.

The best way to become involved is to participate consistently.
Attend Sunday services, join a Cell Fellowship, take part in church activities, and explore opportunities to serve. As you build relationships and grow in your faith, you'll naturally become more connected to the life of the church.
