There is no dress code at ROLCC. Wear something modest and comfortable. Our desire is that you feel at ease and can focus on worship and hearing God's Word rather than what you're wearing.

Yes. You can attend without talking to anyone. At ROLCC, we try to welcome people warmly and thoughtfully, but we don’t single visitors out or ask anyone to introduce themselves publicly. If you want to come in, sit, listen, and leave quietly, that’s completely okay. When you’re ready, you can take a small next step—say hello to someone after service, fill the Welcome Form, or join a Cell Fellowship where conversations happen more naturally in a smaller group.
Yes—visiting is a great first step. You don’t have to join before you come. At ROLCC, you’re welcome to attend a Sunday service, sit in, and simply observe without pressure. We offer a warm welcome, but we won’t ask you to stand up or introduce yourself publicly. If you prefer to keep things private, you can. If you’d like to connect later, you can use the Welcome Form or speak with someone from the team after the service. Take your time—faith and trust often grow one honest step at a time.
Yes. You can attend ROLCC without becoming a member. Many people take time to understand what we believe, experience the community, and ask honest questions before making any commitment. That said, membership can be meaningful—it’s a way of saying “this is my church family,” and it also helps us care well for you. For certain pastoral services like weddings, baby dedication, burial support, and some priority care, members may receive preference (not to exclude others, but because church family carries shared responsibilities and privileges). You’re welcome either way—start by visiting and take your next step when you’re ready.
Some churches do, but at ROLCC we don’t force visitors to introduce themselves publicly. We understand many people feel anxious about attention, so we avoid putting anyone on the spot. You can attend quietly, sit where you’re comfortable, and simply observe. Our team may greet you warmly, and we have a Welcome Form if you want to share your details—but it’s optional. If you’d like to take a next step later, you can connect with a pastor or join a Cell Fellowship to meet people in a more natural, smaller setting.
Yes. You’re free to leave right after the service, and it won’t be awkward. At ROLCC we try to welcome people warmly, but we don’t corner visitors or pressure anyone to stay. If you need to step out quickly, that’s completely okay. If you’d like to connect another day, you can use the Welcome Form or talk to someone when you have time. And if you’re looking for a smaller, more relaxed way to meet people, a Cell Fellowship during the week is often a gentle next step.
Yes—taking a few weeks is wise. You’re welcome to attend ROLCC for a season, listen, watch how we live out our faith, and ask questions before deciding anything. We won’t push you to join quickly, and we won’t ask visitors to introduce themselves publicly. If you want a clearer sense of the church beyond Sunday, try a Cell Fellowship during the week or speak with a pastor or leader after service. Trust is built over time, not in one visit.
Start by simply coming as you are. You don’t need to know what to do or what to wear. At ROLCC, you’re welcome to attend a Sunday service (8:00 AM Tamil, 10:00 AM English at HSR Layout), sit, and observe—no one will force you to introduce yourself publicly. If you want help navigating, you can fill the Welcome Form and our team will connect with you. A great next step after a Sunday is Midweek Fellowship/Cell Fellowship, where you can ask questions and build relationships.
No. Church isn’t only for “religious people.” Church is for real people who need God—people searching for hope, healing, community, and truth. At ROLCC, you’re welcome whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re just exploring. You can come, listen, and observe without being put on the spot or asked to introduce yourself publicly. If you want community beyond Sundays, Midweek Fellowship/Cell Fellowship is a practical way to connect. Come as you are, and take your next step when you’re ready.
Yes. You can attend simply to understand Christianity. Many people start by listening before they believe. At ROLCC, you’re welcome to come to a Sunday service (10:00 AM English at HSR Layout), sit, and observe without pressure. We won’t ask visitors to introduce themselves publicly. If you want space to ask questions, Midweek Fellowship/Cell Fellowship is a great next step. You can also use the Welcome Form to connect with someone who can guide you. Explore honestly—God can handle your questions.
Yes—design is a real gift, and it can serve the church well. At ROLCC, designers often help with communication, event creatives, social media, sermon series visuals, slides, and storytelling that helps people engage with God’s Word. A practical next step is to share your skills (portfolio if you have one) through the Welcome Form or speak with our team, and we’ll connect you with the right leader—often within Media/Production. Serving with your strengths is a great way to belong and contribute meaningfully.
I’m sorry you felt that way—church should never feel like a place where you disappear. Sometimes it happens because a big room can feel anonymous, not because people don’t care. A practical next step is to take one small step toward connection: fill the Welcome Form, speak to someone from Ushers & Welcome, or ask to be connected to a Cell Fellowship where you can be known by name. If you’ve been carrying loneliness or hurt for a while, our Counselling Ministry is also available. You matter to God, and you should be seen in God’s family too.
Yes. Choosing a church home is an important decision and shouldn't be rushed. We encourage you to prayerfully visit churches, examine whether Christ is at the centre, God's Word is faithfully taught, and there is a community where you can grow spiritually and serve. Take the time you need to seek God's leading before making your decision.
Absolutely. If you're visiting for the first time, there's no expectation for you to know the order of the service, the songs, or when to stand or sit. Simply follow along as you're comfortable, and if you have any questions, our pastors and church family will be happy to help.

Yes. Church is more than a place you attend—it's a family where people worship, grow, and walk through life together. At ROLCC, our prayer is that you'll find a Christ-centred community where you feel known, encouraged, and at home as you grow in your relationship with God.
God can use the skills He's given you to serve His Kingdom. Whether you're in technology, business, education, healthcare, media, finance, design, law, or another profession, there are opportunities at ROLCC to use your experience to strengthen the church, serve the community, and help others grow in Christ.
