Salvation is a gift from God. It cannot be earned. Because of God's love, He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for the sin that separates us from Him, and Jesus rose again in victory over sin and death. We receive this gift by faith in Jesus Christ.
God made people to live in relationship with Him. Following Jesus is how you were created to live. Until we surrender our lives to God and live according to His Word, we remain separated from Him and misaligned from our purpose.
Sin separates us from God, and the penalty for sin requires a perfect sacrifice. Jesus came as a human, lived a perfect life, and gave Himself so we no longer have to be separated from God.
Start with the Gospel of John. It clearly shows who Jesus is and what it means to believe in Him. You can also explore our Bible Study pages for guided passages and discussion.
